Kent M. Burk, MD is the Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He specializes in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders. He has extensive experience in treating women with incontinence of bladder or bowel, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, emptying disorders and fistulas. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He received his medical degree from the UMKC School of Medicine and completed an internship and specialty training at the University of Texas, Southwestern. He is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UMKC School of Medicine.
