Howard Kremer, MD, a general surgeon, is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine, where he also completed a surgical residency. After completing residency, he joined the faculty at TMC, where he worked for almost a decade. He then entered private practice, working in Colorado Springs, CO for several years, and then returned to the Kansas City area, working in Independence, MO. He rejoined the Truman / UMKC faculty in September of 2005. Dr. Kremer is on the faculty of the UMKC School of Medicine Department of Surgery. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and serves as the Surgery Clerkship Director for the UMKC Medical Students at Truman. Besides the treatment of breast disease and breast cancers, his surgical interests also include the treatment of biliary tract disease, hernias, thyroid and parathyroid disease and trauma.
