University Health Community Care (UHCC) Linwood is a fully-staffed primary care clinic located adjacent to the Linwood YMCA. With five board-certified internal medicine specialists, and a dual board-certified pediatrics/internal medicine specialist, we treat patients of all ages. If you have children who need a pediatrician, and need a doctor for yourself as well, UHCC Linwood is the perfect place for you. Our providers are able to refer patients to YMCA programs to help them manage their conditions, as well as to the full range of academic medical specialists at Truman Medical Center, the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri - Kansas City Medical School. In addition to all primary care services, UHCC Linwood also has an Endocrinology/Diabetes Clinic a Teen Mom Clinic, on-site lab services and a full-time social worker.

Zaheer Ahmed, MD

Zaheer Ahmed, MD

Dr Ahmed is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. He attended medical school in his native Pakistan, at the University of Health Sciences in Lahore. He completed medical and surgical internships at Bahawal Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur and a residency at Truman Medical Center. He is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine.
Kavita Jadhav, MD

Kavita Jadhav, MD

Dr Jadhav is a board-certified internal medicine specialist and is board-eligible in geriatric medicine. She received her medical degree from the Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College in Navi Mumbai, India, and completed a residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital.
Monica Katamura, MD

Monica Katamura, MD

Dr. Katamura has a dual board certification in pediatrics and internal medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine and completed a residency at the Tulane University Med-Peds Residency Program.
Bindiya Marakkath, MD

Bindiya Marakkath, MD

Dr. Marakkath is a board-certified in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from the Government Medical College in Kozhikode, India, where she also completed an internship and residency. She is a teacher at the UMKC School of Medicine.
Aamir Malik, MD

Aamir Malik, MD

Dr. Malik is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. He attended medical school in his native Pakistan, at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi. He completed an internal medicine residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine.
Sobrina Mohammed, MD

Sobrina Mohammed, MD

Dr. Mohammed is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she completed a residency as well. She also received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honors from the Faculty Of Medical Sciences, University of West Indies, in St. Augustine, Trinidad. She is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine.
Pamela Elliott, MSN, FNP-C

Pamela Elliott, MSN, FNP-C

As a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Elliott is prepared by education and certification to assess, diagnose, and manage patient problems, order tests, and prescribe medications. She treats children as well as adults, and is available to see patients on Saturdays, plus during the week.
D’Lita Parker, APRN

D’Lita Parker, APRN

As a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Parker is prepared by education and certification to assess, diagnose, and manage patient problems, order tests, and prescribe medications. She has a special interest in obstetrics and gynecology for teen moms, and is the nurse practitioner in our Teen Mom Clinic.
